'Mad Sue' one of hundreds queuing for Wimbledon tickets

The English are known for their patient ability to queue but one lady has taken this to the extreme. 'Mad Sue' as she is affectionately known, has camped in the queue for Wimbledon tickets every year since 1976 and shows no sign of wavering this year.

Clad from head to toe in England flags, the tennis fanatic says, "It's an expensive fortnight, but it's worth it. Brilliant. Everyone thinks I'm crazy but I can't help myself. I love Wimbledon and everything about it. The atmosphere's just fantastic."

Having moved off of the pavements and into the park, this year's queue is much more dignified than previous years with state of the art port-a-loos, burger vans and neat plastic walkways.

'Mad Sue' is among hundreds of people that queue overnight to get tickets for Wimbledon every year. Some of those camping this year include Lleyton Hewitt fans that have travelled all the way from Australia to watch the event. The 'Fanatics Australia' will now have to return home disappointed after Roddick knocked Hewitt out of the running on Wednesday (1st of July).
The supporters will have to return back from the thrills of tennis to the more hum drum matters of every day life like finding cheap car insurance.
